More and more, college football teams also are looking for faster, slimmer players who can defend the spread attack. Coaches want 275-pound tackles who can stop the run and rush the passer. They want 250-pound ends who can sack the quarterback and drop into pass coverage.

Ends have become tackles. Linebackers have become ends. Safeties have become linebackers.

And one recruit who fits that description, who may/may not have been on our target is Brayden Burnett, 6'3", 240 lbs DE from Southlake Carroll who runs a 4.6 40. He just committed over the weekend to play at Missouri. :angry: I guess we can't expect to get every SLC prospect??

I guess those kids in Southlake have become so acustom to winning in high school that they wanna keep doing it in college.
