If anyone is planning on visiting Baton Rouge and LSU/ Death Valley in September.............

I have two tickets in the Stadium Club for sale.

These are my personal tickets. I cannot make this game.

The seats are on the second row of the lowest of three levels near the level of the goalline and are covered.

The inside of the Club is air conditioned, has multiple big screen TVs and private bathrooms.

The Club serves a wide variety of free food and nonalcoholic beverages from 3 hours before kickoff until one hour after the game ends.

Beer, wine, and mixed drinks are available for a nominal cost.

The seats are expensive and not for those on a tight budget, but I am selling them for less than my cost.

I would suggest you go to a Virginia Tech board and ask them what they think of LSU fans.

Last time we played LSU we were treated very well. LSU fans next to the NT tent invited us to eat their food and drink their beer but, as they said were weren't Tennessee!

I'm not sure that would be a great gauge...since you would have been playing Va. Tech....the season after their national tragedy.

I've been to LSU 4 times now to see the Mean Green play and was treated great every time, and our seats are incredible. One of the best road trips around next to ULLafayette. But I'm goint to K State and Rice this year so I'll be skipping Baton Rouge this time.

I went to Shreveport in October and they were playing somebody big...cant remember. I was wearing a NT shirt at some new boardwalk they opened up there and they are great and courteous fans. You have dumb fans in all schools so to single out LSU fans is dumb. A few people even commented my shirt and sorta yelled out Mean Green when they saw it.

The sign was the result of negative comments the UC-Irvine baseball coach made about LSU and the Civil War prior to the SuperRegional.

He later apologized. The sign was reflective of his comments as well as the fact that we won two out of three and advanced to the College World Series after losing the first game.

Opposing fans who are going to get bent out of shape about getting Tiger Bait yelled at them should probably not go. If you can laugh it off and do your own cheer back you will be invited to drink and eat for free and meet a lot of interesting people. All fan bases have their jerks and LSU is not any different, but not significantly different than any other school.

I visited NTexas btw when my daughter was looking at colleges (while wearing an LSU shirt) and have to say that everyone we met was extremely nice and very helpful and I enjoyed my visit thoroughly. If a college football fan is not going to visit one of the premiere college football stadiums in the country based on internet rumors he is truly going to miss out on a great experience. Thanks to those who have inquired about the tickets.

I really didn't mean to start it with you. I office in a large company with about 10 LSU fans and 9 of them smoke taint-water. The most annoying ones are Loyola kids who wished they went to a big school, but those are hard prejudices to just give up.

Uh, do you think that their courtious behavior might have had just a little itsy-bitsy teeny bit to do with the fact that their drunken riotous fan base was under review by the SEC for having pelted the Tennesssee busses with bottles a couple of weeks earlier and that Skip Bertram had threatened that all taigating behavior may end? The busses were carrying Tennessee cheerleaders, dance team, and members of the Tennessee athletic department to the stadium when they got stopped behind the LSU team busses. The LSU fans rocked the Tennesse busses and smashed several of the windows. Louisaina state troopers that were present en mass did absolutely nothing to curtail the behavior.

Even the trashiest members of our society can occasionally behave when they know they are being closely watched, and every criminal finds Jesus on death row, but be assured, these Tigers don't change thier stripes.

As one Tennessee fan so eloquently put it "LSU is a lot like Mogadishu except the natives wear purple and yellow."

Frankly, I thought it was an insult to Somalians.

I don't mind the Tiger bait chants but:

I've been to a lot of college stadiums and I've never had my car vandalized just for having an NT sticker on it....except at LSU,

I've been to a lot of college stadiums and I've never had stuff thrown at me when I cheered for NT....except at LSU.

I've been to a lot of college & pro stadiums and I've encountered or witnessed jerk fans, and each time the ushers/security would escort the offenders from the stadium...except at LSU.

I will be the first to say I've met a lot of nice people in Baton Rouge, very hospitable. And I know there are jerk fans everywhere, the difference is there outrageous behavior at other schools isn't tolerated like it is at Death Valley. It's a minority of drunken jerk fans at LSU, and the authorities lack of doing anything to curtail the behavior that have soured me on that place.
