It should be noted I think you can put 7-10 in any order without much argument. It should also be noted I couldn't care less about 11 or 12, as schools or conference mates.

KState was about as schizo last year as TU and UTEP. I don't blame them at all. Iowa State and Fresno State? hmmm...they did have a great show against the Horns. And Tulsa had a great hat to hang during the Kragthorpe era.

Welcome to the post Krag-Snyder era.

No way Troy is the team that they were last season. Nor Tulsa. And why are we all sleeping on K-State?

This is isn't to say that any of these teams will be weak, just that I think we're falling into the trap that oft befalls sports writers...judging a team by what they did last season and not based on what they lost from that team or gained.

I understand the question but I don't think we have a single easy game this year, so whoever we play each week will be the toughest game of the season. I rank all of the 2008 opponents #1.

K State was a medicore team last season at best. The only thing that they have returning is the QB, who is pretty good. But I believe they lost 4/5 of the offensive line as well as the 2 top RBs. They were hit hard by graduation on defense as well. On top of that the MEAN GREEN owe them one from 1989, when the win against NT was the turning point for the Snyder years.

so what? Most of their backups would START at most Sun Belt schools... They are easily the second best team on that list. Troy lost a lot of players, as did Tulsa. You telling me those two teams have better guys coming in than K-State?
