lineman Coleman Feeley now listed as 6-5, 305...when signed 6-4, 287

DB Royce Hill Houston Cypress Ridge now 6-1, 180, when signed 5-11, 170

According to the Official Bayou Bowl 2008 website the game was played last night. I can't find a box score or any indication that the tape of the game will be telecast, but I'm curious to know how our boys did. Anyone go to the game at Stallworth Stadium in Baytown, TX?

Ok, I found an article in the Baytown Sun. Texas won 24-14. While the Texas team had three interceptions, there is no mention of Hill (nor was Feeley mentioned in the article).

The game was very exciting with great high school talent on both sides. Louisiana scored first on an interception return and two offensive plays. Texas came back with a sustained drive to score and then scored again in the first half ending the half at TX-14 LA-7. The game continued a defensive struggle with only TX scoring a FG in the third quarter. Late in the fourth quarter Louisiana scored a TD and made the game close at TX-17 LA-14. With about three minutes left in the game Louisiana was pinned down on it own 5 and their QB was pressured into throwing and interception to the TX DE McGahee, who then took it in for a TD. The game ended TX-24 LA-14.

Feeley started at right tackle and played about 70% of the offensive plays. He had a very good game and was in on all of the TX scoring drives. I believe Royce also started and was instrumental in holding LA to so few scoring opportunities. His name was called many times during the evening for making critical tackles allowing UNT to be mentioned on air quite a few times (linemen don't get much air time).

Many of the players from both teams were D1 recruits headed to schools like TX A&M, Nebraska, OK State, LA Tech, Vanderbilt, TCU, Rice, SMU, LSU, TX Tech, Utep, etc.

The game will be televised on Monday at 7:pm on FSNSW if your cable or dish company is carrying it. If you go to FSNSW on the net you can check the guide for your city. I think it is on the NFL Network tonight, but can't guarantee this.

Sorry about the lack of sportscasting talent; I mostly just watched the game.
