For 6th Home Games - Schedule A 1aa Team ?

Yes, the weather was very nasty for the WKU game-rain, cold, windy.

I would want a 6th home game, even if it means playing a 1-AA team.

Home games are for the fans as well as the team, so I say schedule

as many home games as possible!

Who the &*%$ in the Athletic Department schedules a 1-AA game two days after Thanksgiving Day, especially after it was done a year earlier and it was a complete disaster. From what I heard 5,000 in attendance was more like 500. My friend and I were supposed to go, that day but I was recovering from the flu and couldn't go, he called me while I was listening to the radio to tell me he was on the student side and he had to look for people on the student side and the alum side had more people.

I was pissed I couldn't go because it was an exciting game with the fights that occured throughout the game.

That weather wasn't just nasty, it was BRUTAL! We tailgated in the parking lot, inside the car; ran the engine to use the heater intermitently. Never went to the seats, just to the deck. Even there, we were so thoroughly chilled by halftime that we left and listened to the game on the radio on the way home. We were both dressed for it and the chill still made us wimps. Those were the most miserable conditions I can remember in several years. There may very well have been 5,000 at kickoff and only 500 left standing at the end.
