My wife asked for - and received - two of the folding lawn chairs for Mother's Day. I know, I know...she is spoiled. But at this point in our lives I guess it is okay to splurge a little.

Not sure if this counts as merchandising, but I recently saw a hooker on Harry Hines, who was wearing a NT t-shirt. Believe me, if I was into hookers...she would have gotten my business.

Probably one of our grads' second job. Tough economic times, you know.

It fascinates me to see just how much "older" UNT merchandise there is out there for sale. For years we couldn't get stores to carry the stuff, and now its like 25% of what I see out there is old. Oh well, at least it is out there.

Not sure about that particular store, but the BBB in Lewisville off of Round Grove has some NT merchandise.

They sell this stuff at the BB&B in Grapevine Mills mall and the Denton store off 288. There is more NT stuff then any other college in the Denton location! Also almost all the merchandise at the Denton location has the new logo or just says "north texas" (none of the star logo garbage). I bought a folding chair today for 20$!!!!!!!!

It seems every time I watch a Rangers home game I see an some fan wearing an NT shirt. I always give a little cheer when I see that.

Recently, I have seen several NORTH TEXAS AND MEAN GREEN CLUB window stickers, while driving on I35. I didn't use to see any and now it seems they are everywhere. We need to increase this kind of of sighting to change those young minds about UNT.
