I hope they throw the book at him.

However, I doubt MLB will ever change the record book.

They are spineless and they have completely driven me away from the great game.

I was a kid who would wake up first thing in the morning and read the box scores, I knew how to score a baseball game correctly in kindergarden. And now? No interest in MLB.

I light of the other two active threads on this section...I finally think we may have found something to all agree on...an udder disdain for Barry Bonds.

Do you think there is some way to organize a world summit unified under the flag of our distaste for Barry Bonds...all nations, religions, sects, creeds, races, sexes and beliefs would join together in agreement for possibly the first time ever...and from there we would have a solid foundation of understanding to work through all of the world's problems and disputes.

Alright. Then why is the government involved in the Sterioids controversy?

...my point is (and has been on this subject since day 1) that this country has a huuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuge mound of problems... and our government is spending their time grandstanding on this issue that doesn't impact your life or my life one single bit. The governement's involvement is a waste of taxpayer money and time.

I say let sports stars roid up all they want. ...and let the marketplace decide if it agrees or not. ...and LET PARENTS PARENT THEIR KIDS. Don't give me the "but the kids look up to these guys" argument. It's BUNK. YOU, the PARENT have the power to tell YOUR KIDS that "This guy who uses Steroids is a LOSER". If Barry Bonds or Roger the Cradle Robber has more influence over your kids than you do, the problem is staring you back in the mirror.

Sorry to rant. I love you guys... *sniff*
