Indeed. To compare Rosa Parks to Muslims refusing to do their jobs as cab drivers is a huuuge stretch.

Also, the violence in Ireland has been more political than religious.

For the record, I'm an atheist and agree with Einstein on the matter of religion.

Do y'all remember when there were several instances in which Arabic store clerks were attacked here in the U.S. after 911 and President Bush called for the populace to have peace, tolerence and understanding of the Muslim faith?

Bush said Monday.
"Muslim Americans make an incredibly valuable contribution to our country," Bush said. "They need to be treated with respect."
Touring a Washington mosque, Bush said, "the face of terror is not the true faith of Islam."
He also quoted the Muslim holy book, the Quran: "In the long run, evil in the extreme will be the end of those who do evil."

Where's that from the Muslim based countries and their leadership when it happens the other way around? If there are, I haven't heard or read about them. Maybe I'm searching in the wrong place?

I've made the thread visible again after removing some NSFW links. A couple of things:

1) Stop posting NSFW links, next person earns a two week ban, I am tired of handing out warnings.

2) This thread is on the razors edge, I am going to allow it as long as it stays civil and above name calling, if it fails that, I am closing the thread for good and banning who ever does it.

In other words, I am tired of trying to please everyone, I have decided to please no one.

If you break the rules, I will ban you, I will ban your spouse, I will ban your children, I will go to your house and infect your computer with viruses, I will break you modem and cut the cables to the telephone company, I will switch the batteries on your wireless mouse, I will plow up your yard and salt it so nothing grows there again, I will trim your hedges into obscene shapes, I will paint pro SMU slogans on your roof, I will... well you get the picture.

I believe this thread has been very civil for the most part. I love the debate though even if we all dont see eye to eye

Hortas are great...but I love all cooked greens...they pair very nicely with lamb braised in wine, salt and pepper only...the rich flavor of the hortas would mask any sort of over-seasoning on the lamb...so keep it simple

I've enjoyed this thread. Even though we had some vehement disagreements and it got sort of heated....I think we can all agree on one thing:
