What Is It With Turco In Detroit?

I FF'd through the game after getting back from a rehearsal. Did we even have a PP opportunity? Seems like the Wings pelted us with 3 PP goals before I could blink.

A 5-3 goal, a breakaway and a guy allowed to weigh anchor with no retribution in his face all night - a true team loss. If Boucher and Barnes don't get healthy, this will be over quick.

Turco wasnt total money last night but I didnt think he did that bad last night. Giving up a goal on 5-3 against the Wings in Detroit isnt a shame and two more goals were power plays to go down 3-0. I think that first goal was a total momentum advantage for the Wings and maybe its just me but it just seems that Detroit is just far more better and skilled than the Stars. I think the Stars will have to play balls out for every game here on out and hopefully they have learned from it last night.

I am not sure how one of the goals counted Turo had the Detroit player in his lap, and the first goal looked high, I mean the deflection, seemed like it was high sticking, but only one angle showed it and I only saw that once.

Seems to me that Marty had a very nice game 2 in Detroit. Game one was a "mess" all the way around...Turco had no chance of keeping them in the game playing the way they were...way too "tired" and "drained" from the long OT game...Marty should be congratulated for stepping up in this year's playoffs. It is not too late against the Red Wings, either, but itb will take soem mighy "doing" to get out with the wins to advance. If Dallas doesn't advance, it probably will not be Marty's "fault" this time. Leave any keeper (hockey, soccer, water polo, lacrosse, etc., etc) hanging out there alone in front of his net, and it will be a tough game indeed. Where are the others who are susposed to not let the opposing team get to the goal in the first place? Just wondering....
