There will be a story in tomorrow's paper that runs through the numbers again and will also include some figures the guys over at the Bowling Green Daily News provided me about what Mary Taylor Cowles earned while leading the Hilltoppers to the conference's regular season and tournament titles last season.

Considering all that she has accomplished at WKU since they hired her in '02, and that they have given her two contract extensions since that time, and considering she has brought TWO $200,000 endowed scholarships recently from donors I'm going to predict that she's making over $180,000 a year plus incentives?

Rick...in today's print edition of the D-RC.....Vito states that the WKU coach had a base salary of $125,000 (plus incentives) in the 2007-2008 school. Meeting a lot of those incentives, raised her total pay to approximately $200,000.
