Experienced Q B's Have Yielded Sun Belt Success

In the past we have hosted Texas A&M, Texas Tech, Army and Kansas at Texas Stadium. If it takes the return of Craig Helwig or a return trip back to that hell hole of a stadium to bring any of those four programs back then I don't ever want to play them again. And more than likely it would take the latter because there's no way in the world Fouts could handle the crowds that would show up with a rematch with A&M or Tech, so forget it.

During and since that time we have hosted Oregon State of the Pac 10, Vanderbilt of the SEC, Houston, SMU, Baylor(Twice), TCU and Navy. So facility wise we know we can handle that size crowd at this time. Future home schedules are with Tulsa, Army, Rice, K State and Air Force prior to their supposed buyout. None of these are USC or Texas, but neither is Minnesota or Maryland.

Personally I could give a rats ass who the muts schedule. First thing we have to worry about right now is beating those on our current schedule and nothing else. Sure, I want to see improvement in all aspects of our program and there's leaderhip within the university in place now to make sure this happens. But if I sat around and worried and whined about all the things other schools had over North Texas I wouldn't be a Mean Green fan in the first place. It's a bit late and serves zero purpose to continue to bag on and blame Coach Dodge for his lack of experience and this thread has served no other purpose for one than to do just that. Everytime there's a chance to compare us with others then it's open season on TD and NT hiring a high school coach. That may have held water last year. But not any more. I don't recall anyone sitting around me at Ford bitching about who his last employer was while TD's offense was moving up and down the field on Phill Bennet's experienced DC? I don't recall at the end of the season in Fouts people bitching about it either with each score TD's offense gained against Paul Johnson's experienced DC? For me he has more than convinced me that his offensive system can succeed at this level.

Some of you need to either climb aboard and grab a paddle and row or swim back to the Big 12 shoreline because we aint rowing your dead ass weight anymore!

Nice Carson reference. I got the 'rents a Best of Carson DVD collection a few years ago. It's actually pretty darn funny. Who woulda thunk?

I also have the first season of SNL. Richard Pryor tears the house down. And George Carlin is the first host (if I remember wrong, then he is the 2nd). His humor has, uh, changed.

Just trying to stuff this Hooya of a thread with more refried beans.

I believe that would make this a spinach tortilla. Must be green.
