I was looking around for information on NCAA Football 2009 and noticed this screen pic. while they were discussing the new features of '09

The top picture is of '08 and the Bottom is from '09

They are showing that you will be ablet to tell a difference between artificial "Grass" and real Grass

I hope this'll be a great game since I skipped '08 SIMPLY because it didn't have the new UA-style uniforms and of course, Todd Dodge's 3D model.

Well, they'll also have custom audio, so you can finally have our fight song in the game. You could also have them play fly like an eagle, hey baby, etc. I guess I need to pick up one of those green brigade CDs...

'08 has custom signs for the fans. you can design what it says and when they'll hold it up. It can get...interesting. I'd love to see what others have come up with.

When does NCAA 09 come out for XBOX 360? I also skipped 08 for the reason that I thought it would still have a run based offense instead of a pass crazy offense. Does anybody else have xboxlive?

Surprisingly, those are from the official EA NCAA'09 site page that talks about the improved weather details. IDK why they chose us over other schools, but I'm glad they did.

Sorry to bump an old topic, but I just now finally got this game for the 360. Have any of you guys used the stadium sounds feature to make Fouts as realistic as possible on game days? Do they still sell the Green Brigade CD's on campus? What songs other than Fly Like an Eagle, the fight song, etc. do you use? Can you get the cadence that they play on first downs? Thanks in advance.

I have done this, and it does work pretty well. By the end of a game, I feel just as whipped by hearing the fight song and Fly Like an Eagle way too many times.

As far as I am aware, they still sell the CD and it has some very useful songs for the game. I don't think that the drum cadence is on there, though.

They do have a drum cadence on there. However, the fanfare that they use for first downs (called "power") is being reworked and should be released on their new cd, which should be out this spring.
