2008 Division 1 Transfers

This list will probably expand over the next few months (like maybe some WKU names...)...but a couple of notable names so far:

Sun Belt Schools - Kechan Myers 5'10" 200 UNO

De'Andre Eggins 6'5" 195 UALR

Ashton Farmer 6'7" 230 ASU

Steven Dees 6'1" 180 ULL

Myers probably would've started at the point this season in New Orleans...add his departure to Bo's and 5 other seniors and Joe Pasternak has his recruiting work cut out for him. Eggins was a solid scorer, but by no means a star. Farmer ccan eat space and rebound, but not much more. Dees was a walk-on, brother of David Dees who just graduated. Additionally UALR's Johnathon Uchendu, a 6'11" transfer from Purdue is no longer with UALR.

SMU - Cameron Spencer 6'8" 220

Bennie Rhodes 6'6" 185

Neither would be worth taking on...they'll probably find a spot at low D-1 or D-2

Other names - Soloman Bozeman 6'0" 170 PG from South Florida who has signed with UALR

Matt Heramb 6'9"225 C from Auburn and

Ben Hansbrough 6'3" 205 PG from Mississippi State...the fellas over at Hilltopper Haven feel they may be able to land one or both of these guys to help ease the pain of having their 2 top recruits bolt after Horn left. WKU recruited Heramb out of H.S. Hansbrough will probably end up at Butler.

Brent Barz 6'10" 220 - Originally signed with Northern Iowa...played last season at Tyler JC...same as Tramiel.

John Fields 6'9" 210 from East Carolina - no known connection, just a talented big man.

If any of you guys, Buford...COOLEY (I know you still read this) happen to recognize any of these names as talented area kids, please point them out...none of the names grabbed my attention, but I don't follow H.S. hoop the way I used to
