The windstorm on the front of that storm system last night was pretty wild. It woke me up before the rain even started, which is pretty rare I usually need heavy thunder to get me up. The wind sounded like a running freight train, similar to a tornado but the wind kept coming in waves. I could here my trees cracking like twigs.

The power came on a 11:00 pm so about 19 hours without electricity. I am in the Midway & Royal area.

My cousin lives up in Castle Hills (Hebron) and the wind damaged several roofs and took his kid's trampoline for a 300 yard ride where it ended up in a crumpled mess.
