If and thats a BIG IF Turco can play like he did last year against Vancouver then I see the Stars winning this series. Afcourse He needs to get help from the offense but I have a feeling that the scoring will be much better than it has in recent years past.

I hope the Stars win, but cannot get excited about hockey games that start so late in the evning on the west coast...O.K., I really can't get excited about hockey games that start at anytime...not my "thing". Did you see that the Stars game where they clinched the playoff spot was the lowest rated sports show on TV that day/ I think ice skating beat it out. What's up with that if hockey is such a big deal around here? Go figure!

At this point I say...GO STARS!!!!!!

I see your point, but is losing to a better team a choke? It sucks, but I think a choke is what San Jose is on the road to doing.

Well I feel the Stars have a better chance then the Mavs, and hockey has always been a turn it on in the playoffs kind of sport. I think the Stars can do it.

I don't know that much about hockey , but I'm guessing being up 4 - 0 on the road in the 1st game of the series is a pretty good start.

Stars aren't my team, but I do keep an eye on'm a bit. No way are the Ducks done, but if Dallas gets by Anaheim I think they have a decent shot at taking the West.

That was an impressive win last night but by no means are the Ducks done. I think if Turco continues his play and the stars get timely goals early then I think its the Stars series to lose. However if Jiggy gets on then you can expect a dogfight with Jiggy probably winning it in game 7.

I think Detroit will be pretty rough this year, at least for the Stars.

Turco only had like 20 or 22 saves. you can't get it done making that few saves. Screw him - he needs to be traded. That's only 4 shutouts in his last 8 games.

He's allowed 11 goals in his last 8 games and his offense failed him.

I'd like to see the Stars score an even strength goal before anointing them to win anything, but bitching about Turco is idiocy. Dallas fans saw one of the best goalies ever to play - Belfour in his prime - and became spoiled by it b/c most didn't realize what they saw or how often he bailed out a flawed team.
