Spring Green Vs. White Game Attendance Guess?

OK, anyone want to make predictions on the Spring Game attendance totals this year? The weather is supposed to be sunny and high of 68. Last year I think it was roughly estimated at 5,000.

I'll say this year its at 5,500. Place your bets :-)

The reason for the high attendance last year had a lot to do with the newness of Dodgeball. I imagine attendance will still be high, but down a little.

3000 this year, but a TON more Tailgating than last year......next year the students find out they can come drink in the parking lot and the attendance goes to 10k (only 2500 go inside Fouts).

My fearless prediction is 4,500. Saturday will be a perfect storm of beautiful weather, need to tailgate, need to welcome Deloach back and see what he has done to rejuvenate the defensive corpse in a few practices, and need to see some Dodgeball.

I think the draw this year will be with the return of DeLoach's aggressive defense and how it stacks against Dodge's high-flying offense.

That said- I say same as last year + 300.

I think we still hit close to the 5K mark. Most people I've talked to are very interested in the new defense. If the scrimmage is anything like the practices I've seen, should be an action-packed 80 plays.

weather.com and accuweather.com say it's 69 and sunny with some winds and 3-20% chance of rain. Unless something comes out of nowhere, I need to pack the good sunblock.
