Final Four

Obviously any of the remaining four schools can easily win. If the Bruins can impose their will defensively in Game 1 they win. If Memphis runs and uses their superior athletes they win. I expect a close game....

But I'm gonna have to go with...

In the second semifial both Kansas and UNC love to play up tempo and both are deep and big. This should be a fun game to watch. In a tossup I'll go with....

I was in the "they played nobody in C-USA, thus they are overrated" camp on Memphis until the Texas game...and they just dominated the Horns in every aspect of that game. The Dorsey/Dozier/Taggart trio will give Love fits as they can defend the interior and the exterior...Anderson will shut down Collison like he did Augustin...and I don't think Westbrook can carry the Bruins.

Give me Kansas in game two...if for no other reason than I don't have to listen to Bilas/Nance/Packer/Vitale or any of the other "experts" fawn over Tyler Hansborough like a drunken frat guy who just met Pamela Anderson.

I'm going with Memphis. I picked them to win it all in my pick 'em bracket, and I'll stick with them.

1) I had a hunch about Memphis doing very, very well.

2) I'd like the team that beat us to go as far as possible.

Never mind that Calapari has never graduated anybody.

If Kansas wins, I win my bracket.

Everyone should care about that. If Kansas doesn't win, then CUSA will have one more basketball title than the Big 12 has ever won since the league was formed.

Memphis..... and in the local TV contest...(400 entered) I will win an expensive monitor if the two in front of me in the standings chose Kansas... which I think is fairly likely.

I honestly think Memphis will win anyway...

Memphis was once a conference-mate of North Texas in the old Missouri Valley along with Louisville and Cincinnati. Plus our present BB coach was once the head coach at Memphis.

That really was an amazing game...especially the last 4-6 minutes of regulation. Memphis goes on the run...then Kansas does...then Memphis's FT shooting once again shows how bad it was all season. And the amazing 3 with two seconds.
