Stephen Curry Is A Cold Blooded Assassin

One of the most impressive kids I've ever seen. Davidson's run reminds me of Temple in 1991(10 seed led by Mark Macon, an unreal talent that somehow ended up at a Mid-Major) that ended to UNC by 3 in the Elite 8. Let's go DAVIDSON. :D

CP3 meets JJ Reddick's jumper...and hes a 19 year old sophomore. My brackett is completly shot so the only thing I want to see is this kid carry Davidson to the national title...and then in two years to see him 10 pounds heavier and in a Mavs uni.

I am not sure I have EVER seen a better pure shooter than Stephen (although he doesn't know how to pronounce his name) Curry.

He is sure fun to watch. Davidson plays great, fundamental basketball. I felt they had a chance to win last night, though I really didn't see them blowing out Wisconsin. They will have a great shot at Kansas.

Davidson has two shots against Kansas, SLIM and NONE and SLIM is on a bus out of town. Kansas is too deep and has a coach that understands Curry can have his points. It's the other players that the Jayhawks have to control. Davidson has NO answer for Darrell Arthur, Sasha Kaun, Darnell Jackson or Brandon Rush. The inside game is too much for Davidson and Rush is someone that can just take over a game. I think Curry and the Wildcats will play awesome for a half, but KU is just too deep and too talented to lose to Davidson.

I agree with GreenBat. In watching KS this year, I'm really impressed with their depth, and they can bring so many bigs and bang that they will just wear you out. I'd like to see Davidson pull the upset, but over 60 minutes I think they're going to finally get worn down against Kansas.

Davidson vs NORTH CAROLINA 68-72

Davidson vs DUKE 73-79

Davidson vs UCLA 63-75 (Davidson had an 18 point lead in this game at halftime)

Looks like they can hang ok with the big boys to me.

I never said they couldn't hang with the Big Boys, but in my opinion KU is just too deep and too talented to lose to Davidson.

Giving a squad chances of "Slim and none" doesn't tell me you think they can hang. Okay, so we know rankings are just one factor the selection committee uses to seed teams. That said, if we went just by rankings Davidson would've been a 6 seed(they were 24th in the final polls I believe). This isn't a stunner on the same level as George Mason 2 years ago. We have had 6 seeds advance to Regional Finals every few years.

(Not denigrating GMU at all...those kids could seriously play ball as they showed everyone)

Does that mean he would have to drop all the way out of the 1st round ?

Mavs would have a lottery pick if they miss the playoffs...the traded picks to NJ are lottery protected

Are both protected ? They gave up 2 , right ?

I wonder if/what they would have to then give up if the MaVs wound up with a lottery pick
