Owner Of Txst's Bobcatfans.com Stepping Down..

Brent Thibdeaux, owner and admin of Texas State's BF.com is stepping down and handing over the reins after 8 years. I have posted there and enjoyed that site for quite a while. Outside of GMG.com I always felt BF.com was run with a similar quality and class. I doubt many of us fully understand and appreciate all the work guys like him and Harry have put in over the years to keep the fans of their respective programs up to date, and more importantly, connected.

As most are aware, I'm stepping down as owner of BobcatFans.com and Rick now has full control.

It has been a fun 8 years getting to know everyone, tailgating, talking Bobcat athletics and just the daily discussion on BF.com. The memories will last a lifetime but I won't be gone for good, I'll just be a normal user now, that is just weird to say.

To the guys that have been there from the start I just want to say thanks! This site could never be what is today with you and your loyal support. Texas State University is lucky to have people like you giving your all for the school.

I tip my hat to you guys for all the success.

Would also want to say thanks to the Texas State athletic dept, the coaches former and present who supported BF.com and knew how instrumental a fansite can be.

Like I stated before, this isn't the last you heard of me by any means. I'll be around and I'm sure I'll pop up again on the internet some day soon.

As for recruiting news goes, everyone knows thats my favorite thing. I love scouting high school, JUCO and college football players, its my passion. Unfortunately, I will not be posting anymore information on this site. Again, feel free to e-mail me just because I'm going away doesn't mean I wont have my ear to the ground and tidbits of recruiting info.

Best of luck to Rick and his new staff. I hope they have as much fun as I did over the years.
