We led thru most of the 1st half. They had a run right before the break. Then in the 2nd we came out strong. Watson had the missed dunk and then Memphis pushed the lead to 17 or so. We got it inside 10 twice(I think one time was with less than 4 minutes to go) - but it was too large a mountain to climb.

I still wonder what woulda happened if Calvin had just laid the ball in there.... Memphis wasn't THAT much better than us on that day.

I wonder what woulda happened if we had drawn a #2 seed without size like Duke this year in the first round. I think Memphis was the worst possible match up for us last year.

I realize Memphis has a lot of talent this year, but I was not that impressed with their two games in the tourney this past weekend. I thought UTA gave them a much better game than I thought they would and Miss State nearly pulled the upset.

I'd start throwing my walk-ons in just to foul in the last 5-10 minutes. Memphis can't shoot FT for crap. Send'em to the line every chance you get.
