The play calls in the first half were mind-boggling. Everything was run to the strong side and no effort was made to make half of their defenders work.

The good news is Avery made his time finally adjust to situation, but this is really just spinning yet another disappointment from this team. Outside of history, there is not much reason to believe the Mavs or Spurs will be able to navigate the West anymore without some serious breaks. Utah and LA can play with any type of teams and if a jump shooting team like Phoenix or New Orleans (basically the early 2000 Kings) gets going, they can bury you too.
