I started watching Arena Football back in the late 80s/early 90s when I lived in Florida. Tampa and Orlando are huge rivals, and they nicknamed their games The War on the Floor. It's really too bad that it hasn't been as popular elsewhere because it is a fun game to watch.

We have Desperados season tickets. The games are fast and a lot of fun and you get to feed your football addiction! :D We're in section 119, row N and I'll be wearing an NT shirt. See you there!

Gah! We were in 119, Row T for the last few seasons. Now we've moved up to the club level; partly because they keep raising ticket prices after exiting stage left in the first round of the playoffs, and partly because you need access to the bar during some of the close games.

Evan played the last year of his contract last season, and spent most of that on injured reserve. He told me he planned to take another shot at getting into someone's NFL training camp. He was a fan-favorite in his first AFL season and scored several touchdowns... but the injury bug got him last year and the Despardos let him go. There are several ex-cowboys now on that squad, and it looks like Coach Will is looking for more seasoned players on his line. (Colston Weatherington, Daleroy Stewart, etc...) Evan hopefully will get a call to go to training camp.

On the flip-side, how about how well Colston Weatherington is adapting to the AFL???? From Dallas Cowboy washout to Dallas Desparados star!!!!! Jerry Jones found a way to get his money out of him afterall. Too bad that didnt work for Kareem Larimore????

See you guys there Friday night!

I heard former Flower Mound Marcus standout Chris Sanders will be starting for the injured Clint Doezel. I sure would enjoy seeing him play again , he was the best High School QB I ever saw play in person.
