Clemens was dumb to voluntarily testify under oath. Lying to Congress carries a 5-year penalty in a pound you in the... well, you know.

Have the photos of the party at Conseco's house in which he claimed he was not there surfaced yet? Supposedly the people who have them, and were originally going to sit on them have now decided to give them up.

Yeah, he's stepped into it. And he doesn't even have to be charged with anything to feel the sting as I'm sure much of his interest by fans is over now. He'll be broke and begging for sympathy on "Extra" or some other lousy celebrity pity party show some day?

Man, how do these guys think they can actually lie and get away with it??????? Didn't their mothers teach them any better????? Pro baseball is a MESS! But, I agree, as you can tell from some of the comments regarding baseball on this site...fans will be fans, they will defend "their" favorite sport no mnatter what, and this will pass....

As for Congress...get on to MUCH BIGGER and more important fans....to the fans..."Play Ball"...it's spring training and even the Rangers have a chance!
