Tomorrow night at 7pm the Mean Green men (and women) play their final home game of the season. Four NT seniors...Ben Bell, Keith Wooden, Quinicy Williams and Dez Willingham will play possibly their last game at the Super Pit and definitely their last regular season game. I encourage ALL of you to be there to honor these young men. I know many of you might not care for basketball, some may want to do other things tomorrow night. Just the same the first three guys I mentioned in this post deserve your presence at the Super Pit. Why? Because they have laid it on the line every game of their career at North Texas. Some have played through injury (Keith's ankles still aren't 100%), they've played through the flu this season and they've put in the time and effort in practice and in the classroom to make themselves worthy of our pride. Perhaps more importantly though they have been among the most successful roundballers we have had in the history of this fine institution.

North Texas has been to the NCAA tournament twice. Let me reiterate that....TWICE. These young men were a huge part of half of our NCAA appearances in our school's history! Throw in the fact that we are on the verge of back to back 20 win seasons for the first time in God knows how long and I can see one good reason not to show up tomorrow night, stand up in your seat as these young men are introduced, and then remain standing until they are done putting the finishing touches on a victory over ASU.

Did I mention they're on a 3 game winning streak too?
