Those who know my style of InterWeb posting know that I like to use pictures gathered from the Internet to express my thoughts, feelings, or diabolical plots.

The other day, in a failed attempt to lighten the mood on the "State of the Stadium" thread, I posted a link to a website that many people found horribly offensive. It was bad... REALLY bad. If you were insulted, offended, or otherwise affected by this website then I apologize.

Nobody is sorrier than me that GMG.com members had to spend their valuable time clicking away the popups, or listening to the offensive audio tracks. Though from my personal standpoint I know for a certainty that I meant no harm, please accept my expression of deep regret at this unfortunate incident.

Evidently, I overestimated the number of Rick Astley fans here on GMG.com. And apparently, a lot of GMG.com posters waste a LOT of time at work. I callously ignored the threat that such a link posed to those who while away the hours of the work day on the greatest Sun Belt sports forum in the universe. This incident has inspired me to commission a study on how many hours of productivity is lost due to GoMeanGreen.com.

But seriously... I am sorry and regret doing something that stupid. Being an IT guy, I should certainly know better. I deserve to be banished for life, but JohnDenver and Cerebus, being the gracious and benevolent dictators of the Mean Green nation that they are, have seen fit to commute my sentence to "time-served".

Your case is working it's way through the appeal process, don't breathe easy yet. :whip:

      If we can't fire Morris because we negotiated a horrible contract, then how about firing Mosley who created this mess? It's hard for people to recognize and admit they made a mistake and do what's necessary to clean it up. They usually hold on too long and hope that their guy can turn things around and prove all the nay-sayers wrong and waste another year or two. Get rid of the guy that created the mess and let the new guy clean it up since they have no skin in the previous decision.

      So Charlotte and FAU are Texas A&M? Quick Google search shows our athletic budget is $49.7 million, FAU's is about $32.8 million, Temple's (also fired their coach) is about $33 million, and Charlotte's is about $39 million. They could all fire their coaches but we can't? Unrelated but they all have baseball but we don't. Funny how others do things we can't afford despite us having a bigger budget. Even without the donors, our budget $10 million more than those schools. I'm sure we can find the money to fire the guy.

      Or you think that the NIL is horse crap....and that schools like us, are wasting our time "keeping up with the Joneses." It's past time for the dumbass ADs of the G5s to get together and break off from the big boys. That's what Moseley should be doing, IMHO. Wanna know the difference? SMU put out word that they needed big $$. They had in about a week....four $10 million donors, thirty eight $1 million donors....and 80+ more that gave six figure donations. We've been raising money for the AC for several years now....and finally have around $5 million raised so they can start on Phase 1 (now a $10 million project). We'll never be in the CFP playoff. Ain't happening. So either trying to get with the G5s and doing something sensible....or going down to FCS, makes much more sense than what we're doing right now.
