After all this kid's self-centered bullcrap...I wouldn't want him. He has dicked Michigan, Ohio State and others around. Signing date was 2 weeks ago. Anyway this was from the DMNews blog:

Of all the weird stories to emerge from the latest football recruiting cycle, this could be one of the most surprising. CBS Sports is reporting that Memphis has emerged as a darkhorse candidate to land Pennyslvania quarterback Terrelle Pryor, the nation's top high school recruit.

Pryor, if you remember, postponed his decision on signing day, putting Ohio State, Michigan, Penn State and Oregon on hold. But Memphis has taken advantage of the delay to make a push.

I think Pryor got an unfair rap. He wasn't trying to pull the Perrilloux prima donna junk. But he had limited it down to Michigan and Ohio State, and his father, who has limited traveling ability, really tried to sway him to Penn State. So he agreed to take an official visit there and to Oregon before making his final decision. A lot of high school seniors haven't chosen where they are going to school yet--I wouldn't hold it against the kid.

who cares this kid will probably end up like Perriloux a 3rd year bum who has no discipline and will not be around for a 4th year unless it is at a 1-AA.

I kinda feel sorry for the kid , he probably has 30 - 40 different people a day telling him where he should go and why he should go there. This is the next 4 - 5 years of his life , I can't blame him for taking his time and seeing what school finally feels right for him. He is still just a kid currently in HIGH SCHOOL and already feels a ton of pressure , I won't hold waiting it out on him.

kinda harsh, right? I mean, what's wrong with waiting? I personally expect to see him in Maize and Blue. Rodriquez's offense would be a lot of fun if you were a running QB

I've been talking to a guy I work with who's from Meatchicken who is hoping and praying every day that the Wolverines land Pryor. From what I've read, he seems to be a kid who's just taking his time. It'll be interesting to see where he goes. I will be very surprised if he signs with Memphis.
