Projected Bracket

When were we a 16 seed? And if by some miracle we roll through the tournament again, we are definitely a 16 seed, or maybe even the play-in game.

Are you sure? We would be 22-9 or 23-9 with some decent OOC wins.... teams always beat each other up in conference play....I suspect there are other teams with weaker schedules and poorer records....

One more thing... I bet Sunbelt officials privately hope that we don't go and screw up the potential for 2 Sunbelt teams in the NCAA tourny... I hope we are a spoiler in the SBC conference tourny!! 1 team and 1 team only is going to the NCAA tourny..... UNT Mean Green!!!

We were a 14 seed. Which is bad enough. An 11 or 12 gives you a fighting chance, many 11s and 12s win in the first round.

Actually...provided USA and WKU win out (except against each other) and both make the semi's...I think an upset by UNT would improve SBC chances for the second bid...the committee would be hard pressed to leave out both WKU and USA after their seasons.

I love the fact that the SBC is getting some much deserved recognition. Top to 9 this conference is as tough as any mid-major (and this year some major) conferences. 2 bids...UNT and USA!
