I don't know if there's a player who ever left more on the field for the Miami Dolphins than Zach Thomas. Talk about an overachiever. I know the Dolphins are cleaning house, and I can't blame them too much for getting rid of a player that was dealing with concussions and migraines. But I think he deserves better.

GREAT GUY...a true role model for young people. Deserved better from the Dolphins (but we do not know what went down in the meetings with him and the Dolphins reagarding his release), but is an example of how to carry yourself as a professional to everyone. Whatever he decides, I wish him nothing but the best...he has "earned it".

Agree with everything stated here, but this doesn't really surprise me. The Dolphins will be made with the Parcell's blueprint and "undersized" LB's aren't part of that plan.

Zach Thomas was one of my favorite players, really sad to hear that he was released by the Dolphins....

Definite Hall of Famer.....

Dolphins have always been one of my favorite teams.... But what else can you expect from Bill Parcells as he is known for his his way or the highway attitude, Dallas is better off without him. He did help establish what we have today in Dallas but I never did like how he showed Emmitt Smith the door.
