New Orleans (La.) Abramson defensive end Alonzo Horton is one of the top overall signees of Auburn's 2005 recruiting class. Horton chose the Tigers over offers from Nebraska, Ole Miss and Tennessee among others.

Horton signed with Auburn in 2005 out of Abramson High School in New Orleans, La. and was one of the top signees in the class. Rivals.com ranked Horton the No. 9 overall player in the state of Louisiana and the No. 22 outside linebacker in the country.

I think we all expect big things from Alonzo and I am sure he will deliver! He's put on 51 lbs. since high school back in 2005.

Maybe you were among those busy looking for the failures.

That's cold. It's frigid on the board.

I just read that he came off the NASA space team to help assist the crew at Fouts with the waterless urinals. The waterless technology was backing up and flooding the field. Alonzo is going to develop a reclamation and treatment plant that will save UNT millions thereby making it feasible to build the new stadium. It will now be called the House that Alonzo built.

Let's just hope this guy comes and shows up "large" on Saturday ball games.

At the Mean Green Village signing day event they played highlights of the recruits, and Horton looked very good. I think his combination of speed, power, and size will really give the Sun Belt teams problems. And with Gilmore on the other side, our pass rush should be among the best in the conference. My only concern is our depth behind our starters at the DE position.
