I bet we have disucssed this before but I am curious as to which of these new recruts has you guys the most excited?

I am pumped over Horton! All the things that I read about him from his high schol days are amazing, the fact that Auburn wanted him, and had him, tells you something too! 4.5 40 at 260?!?! those QB's better look out! That and i really think that our DL need significant help. Nothingg helps a defensive backfield like consistant pressure on the passer, Just look at the recent super bowl....

WHat do you guys think?

In the long run, I think Riley is the biggest get for the program. As for immediate impact, you tend to look to the JUCO guys, and I agree with you that I expect Alonzo Horton to make an immediate impact. He and Eddrick Gilmore at the ends? You've gotta love that!

No doubt the ones mentioned are favorites. I can't wait to see Rucker play. 6-6 WR and fast?? Films showed him tobe pretty darn fast and sure-handed. Why would we ever have to worry about 3rd down and 5??? We got him away from Baylor too!

You know... That is something else that makes me happy, seeing us get great pl;ayers from schools that have a "bigger name" or a "better conference"...

bleh! I love taking recruits from those guys. It is a good day in Mean Green Country!

YES, We aint stealing recruits for SBC play from SHS, SFA, SWT(TSU). These guys are probably going to have an impact sooner than we think.

The juco guys have got 2 years experience(all-be-it) at the juco level. But, they are probably more prepared for this level than the average sophmore who has little or no playing experience.

This is the best recruiting we've seen in some time.
