Lake Highland Verbal Commitment

I just noticed this change in verbal commitment from UNT to Tulsa. I wonder what made him change is mind? Maybe it was all the DBs showing verbal commitments to us.

I think he was originally committed to SMU but switched after day 803 without a head coach.

I don't like losing anyone but I think we'll be ok with 9 probable DB's we still have. I'm not sure what led to this either it looks like Tulsa has signed at least 7 DB's plus a couple Athletes who who may play DB. What ever happens the class is looking great and as for Shorter I'd rather lose him than most of the other DB prospects.

For as long as we've had some of these commitments, to only lose 2 (keeping fingers crossed) is pretty amazing. The coaching staff should be commended on the continued recruiting after receiving the commitments.

Yes, gone are the days of Marcus Stiggers, Davaren Hightower, 300+ yds. rushing a game, and not losing at home my entire time in HS. Apparently, in are the days of 2-win seasons. Eh. Their new unis looked kinda cool, at least.
