After winning 3 playoff games on the road I knew the Giants were the team that was best equipped to beat the Pats.

I was rooting against them since Belichik cheated....he wanted this game so much - how fitting that they lost.

That was a GREAT catch by the NY WR on that final drive.

Perfect example of what a good defense can do for you. A good defense keeps you in games when your offense isn't clicking, and gives you a chance to win which is what I look forward to the most with the return of Deloach. If he can get us back to anywhere close to where we were when he left it's going to be really fun around here.

I'm just glad we don't have to listen to the "greatest team ever" b.s. anymore. There is still only one team that went an entire season undefeated. YAY!!

That's right! And they were underdogs in their Super Bowl.

Belicheck was arrogant and a terrible loser with that stunt he pulled at the end. Carey was telling him there was time left, he kept going, and then was completely out of the tunnel before the Giants even snapped the ball. I will be interested to hear how the national media treats that this week. When I saw that, I was so happy that he lost, he deserved it.

Now, does Awasom get his too?

Maybe...

Former North Texas defensive end Adrian Awasom must be livid with himself right about now, as we count down the hours to the kickoff of the Super Bowl. The Giants defensive end could have been in Arizona for the big game, even though he is on injured reserve, but squandered the opportunity when he was sent home after being arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence

With Goodell ordering the destruction of the video tapes that the Pats turned over earlier in the year, I was fully expecting not only a holding flag when Eli escaped the sack and hit Steve Smith, but PI flags when Moss didn't catch the 2 deep passes in the last 30 seconds.

I think the 2007 Patriots have to be considered the "best" Super Bowl loser ever, edging out the 1978 Cowboys. Honorable Mentions would be the 1983 Redskins, 1990 Bills and 2001 Rams.

The 2007 Giants are probably in the discussion for the 5 "worst" Super Bowl winners, but we'll probably never see a winner worse that the 2000 Ravens. Although the 2002 Titans got damn close.

Wow, the handful of Dolphins fans here can celebrate the legacy of the team they never saw play and the Cowboys fan can drink delicious Giants semen all off season long.

How the hell is this is a win for anyone here?

As for better teams, you could grab the runner up 49ers, Eagles or Bills teams from the 90s and they would f up both these teams. At least we don't have to compare the Patriots to the better teams of the past anymore.

I hope someone puts together a highlight DVD of all the times that the Giants defense either sacked, hit, or generally harassed Brady during the game. Then I hope that DeLoach acquires the DVD and shows it to his defense, again, and again, and again........ B)

Hell, I'll even buy the damn thing for him. ;)
