I saw that. Well so much for him going to a brainiac school like Vanderbilt. I thought that was the reason he de-commited on us...was so that he could go get a "better" education at one of the nation's top academic schools.

A & M doesn't fit that bill.

Depends on what he wants to study I suppose. I wouldn't call ATM first tier, but it is a very good school. And it does have better name recognition, especially nationally.

Overall, maybe, maybe not. But certain programs at a & m are highly ranked and probably top tier. Engineering, Vet Medicine, and the Mayes busines school is a top 35 program nationally.
