I too am concerned about playing up there first. We have been burned several times in the past by playing the first game away; Air Force, Northern Illinois, Akron, etc. et al.

Hellsbells! How are some of our fans/posters going to react when we announce a real (hopefully Texas-based) Big Time U that will help us debut our new stadium out at the Mean Green Village?!?!?

Um, I'd rather have someone that we have a legitimate (read: actual, not "if their buses roll off a bridge and can only play Iron Man football with the benchwarmers they originally left back in Austin") shot at beating than some grandiose "We finally got UT to come here" school. Stadium debuts happen ONCE, and I, and the extra thousands that would flock to Denton to see the new stadium on its opening day, would want to see a win.

Forget it. I don't want my thread locked. I like this game being scheduled, I think we should look to the MAC and C-USA to fill up our schedule, with just one $$ game a year.

Greenbat is really an OK guy...all of our interactions have been on a high plane. His posts have been a little harsh lately, but cut him some slack. I have no idea what burr is under his saddle but that will pass. Can't we all just get along?

For the record, I'm a die-hard RV backer.
