Nolan Dennis, had a triple double in a game against Southlake Carroll on Friday night. He had 10 points, 13 boards and 10 assists.

Nolan is a very highly ranked recruit. I believe he's just a junior this year....there at Richland High. I'd love to have him follow big brother up to Denton.

Anyway, a triple double in high school....is even more impressive than in college or the pros....since they just play four 8-minute quarters. (as opposed to 40 and 48 minute games in college and the NBA, respectively).

Forget about the Dennis kid. Considered by many the best Junior in the country. He has offers from Duke, NC. Kansas,

Georgetown, etc. He would really want to be close to mom's cooking for him to stay close to home.

Vincent McNeil Jr (Dallas Roosevelt) also. Not as good as Dennis but I'd like to have him for football and basketball.

Check out the WFAA web site; there's an interesting series of pictures showing a player wearing McNeil's jersey punching the Gilmer High School coach after Roosevelt lost the playoff game. WFAA News

The video showed a Roosevelt player throw a roundhouse right to the head of one of the Gilmer coaches. A police officer was also seen pulling the player off.

Oh, and they haven't announced the student involved in this, Roosevelt Scandal, but there were a lot of blurred images of a scrambling quarterback on the news screen.

Of course nobody is guilty until proven to be so, but I think it's safe to assume that there's an ever so slight chance that Vincent 'PJ' McNeil may not fit the model student image that Todd and Johnny are looking for.

But that's not to say that nobody is interested in this kid. Thread on Vincent McNeil
