Question About Super Bowl

Suppose the Giants win the Super Bowl. Would Adrian Awasome get a ring even though he's on IR? I have no preferrence on the 4 teams left, but if AA has a chance at a ring, I'd pull for the Giants.

Yes. Trent Green got one. But I imagine getting a ring while on IR is not very satisfying.

It's still a Super Bowl ring I'd take a ring while on IR over retiring without one any day.

I believe that our last player to get a Super Bowl rung was Jon Baker... when he was the punter for the Rans. Is that right? Of course, the Rams didn't do much punting that year - that team could score at will and Jon's career really got cut short. But I am pretty sure that he is the most recent Mean Green player to get a Super Bowl ring..

Baker didn't get to St. Louis until 2000 so he didn't get a ring in 99. He did play and lose to New England in his second and final season.

If that's what the post meant then your right. It's cool with me if just getting there is all that matters I can once again argue Dan Marino as the great QB of all time and not run into the whole no ring thing anymore.
