Found this info this morning.

2008 Pre-PreSeason rankings:

Top 25

No. 26 to 50

No. 51 to 75

No. 76 to 100

No 101 to 119

116. North Texas 2007 Record: 2-10

The first year of the Todd Dodge era didn't yield much in the way of results, but it sure was fun. QB Giovanni Vizza learned the ropes in an inconsistent freshman season, and now he should be among the nation's passing leaders with top receiver Casey Fitzgerald returning along with the entire offensive line. The problem is the defense which loses just enough key pieces to potentially be even worse ... if that's possible.

Other colleges of interest:

95. Baylor

105. Middle Tennessee

114. Louisiana-Lafayette

116. North Texas

119. Florida International

Yes, it possible that even if DeLoach returns, the defense will get worse before it gets better.

BTW, if DeLoach is they guy what's the hold up?

Per Vito's blog:

UNT officials -- No contract yet for DeLoach

UNT officials responded to a Freedom of Information Act request today with an interesting bit of information -- there is no contract for former UNT defensive coordinator Gary DeLoach working its way through the UNT system.

A UNT official said it would be at least a week before a deal is in place.

That doesn't mean that DeLoach isn't going to take over as UNT's defensive coordinator, but it might indicate that it will be a few days before the deal is finalized.

The hang-up appears to be that DeLoach is close to becoming vested in the California teaching system, which would ensure him medical benefits when he retires. Accepting the UNT job before he hits the five-year mark would force DeLoach to forfeit those benefits, or at least that is the story I heard from a source outside the UNT athletic department.

I also heard that DeLoach might be pondering an opportunity to coach at another Texas school, but I still expect him to end up at UNT.

D-day for finalizing the DeLoach hire appears to be Jan. 21.

Worse than a defense that threatened the all-time DI points allowed record? I can't allow myself to think that worse is even possible.
