I think Roger Franklin would make us a Sweet 16 team this year and he's only a junior in HS. He is a smooth small forward, who can shoot from 3 feet or 24 feet. He is 14.26 points and around 7 rebounds per game. He has offers from Arkansas, K State, Marquette, Oklahoma, Ok. State and Utah. Georgetown, Baylor, Kansas, Kentucky, Miami-FL, Southern Cal, Texas, Texas A&M & Texas Tech are all after him. If Johnny Jones pulls this rabbit out of the hat, he is a recruiting god.

If he could get Nolan Dennis from Richland, that would be cool as well. Is Nolan, Collins little brother? That might help get him here, but he's got NBA-type talent.

Who has seen Brian Hornstein of Adamson. He's 6-10, but averages 2.2 points, 2.9 rebounds and 2.2 assists per game. Can he block shots or is he just another stiff?

Does he have any upside?

Reger McDowell, North Dallas has left ND and transferred back to Duncanville. I saw him play a lot this year and was not overly impressed. Last I knew he has an offer from Alabama. However, his teammate Desean Miles has out played him much of this year. Desean is also bigger and more of a scoring threat. He reminds me of a Ben Bell starter kit. I've had mention him and his teammate, Corey Bradley, to JJ and staff. Corey reminds me of Harold Stewart. He's about 2 inches shorter, but has longer arms, rebounds like Stewart but has more of an outside game. He's in the top 20 in the area in rebounding and will be featured this week in the DMN as an up and coming post player. Bradley does have one more year (Jr.).
