Read the story and you'll see that the all-time record for least points scored in a game, is held by a conference mate. Also, I can't hardly believe that there was a game that ended 11-6....in 1973.

Interesting stuff.

"The fewest points ever by a Division I team was set by Arkansas State in a 75-6 loss to Kentucky in 1945. It was matched by Temple in an 11-6 loss to Tennessee in 1973."

6 points in an entire game?

No shot clock. Have you ever seen a team run "4 corners" offense? Most do it in the last minute to avoid being fouled, but basically its a stall tactic. Now imagine that for 40 minutes. The shot clock was basketball's savior

I understand the 11-6 Temple game being a stall offense, but in the Kentucky blowout of ASU they scored 75, which means ASU had at least 40 possessions in the game but still only managed 6 points.

It's AssWho State. They've always stunk! They can't even admit when they got their AssWho State Butt handed to them.

Maybe they got confused and sent the girls team to play against Kentucky.... even then I would expect more than 6 points... I wonder if the six points were all free-throws?? Surely they had enough free throw chances to get 6.
