WELLINGTON, New Zealand -- Sir Edmund Hillary, the unassuming beekeeper who conquered Mount Everest to win renown as one of the 20th century's greatest adventurers, has died, New Zealand Prime Minister Helen Clark announced Friday. He was 88.

I blame CBL for this man's death. He had never been monetioned on this site ever then boom CBL throws him into a thread and the guy dies....

That is kinda creepy (not stalker creepy). I've made plenty of Anthony Winchester references...but the Great White Hype seems to continue on...and his ghost of course resides in the catwalk of the SuperPit.
