It was a hard fought game, but we could never get over the hump. The Hoosiers seemed to be in control throughout the night even though it was back and forth. Most of the game was within a few points..but Indiana put it away near the end 51-42,

This one breaks a nice long home winning streak(15) by the girls. Man this sucks. sad.gif

Last years team wouldve killed them.

I'm not saying anything bad about this years team, and they will get better as time goes on, but this is a rebuilding year. You can't lose players like Jalie and Rosalyn and not have a rebuilding season.

I'm not sure if Indiana is rebuilding or not. But if they returned most of their squad...AND you're that confident we would've beaten them last year, how the hell did we not make the NCAA? wink.gif

I'm being serious, I'm not trying to incite you Aaron. My conclusion is they must be starting over too.

Slinker in her post game interview stressed the team is young, and Indiana played solid D, BUT there was no excuse for shooting 21% from the floor. She seemed pleased for the most part with the way we played(and the fan turnout...good crowd on hand?) but I could tell she wasn't thrilled.

Hopefully some folks who aren't going to NO, or the Men's game next Monday can check the Ladies out at SMU. Slinker practically begged for fans to show. smile.gif

I thought the Ladies outplayed IU tonight, but their shots just wouldn't fall. If both teams shoot 30% from the floor, then we win. If we hit our 3's like normal, we win.

Just a wierd night. It was eerie.

Is it Firday the 13? No, this is only Wednesday, but Friday is the 13th...maybe that's it.
