This will be a very physical game. I think everyone is underplaying Ohio State's defense. I don't care who you're playing, these stats are sick.

No one gave Ohio State a chance when they beat Miami awhile back either. If it comes down to coaching, I would take Tressel over Miles anyday. I still think LSU takes it. They will be healthy and will come out like they did the first part of the season when the dominated everyone.

I agree it will be close, but I think the O on both sides will still be badass. I'm thinking 31-28, 34-31, somewhere around there.

And what makes you think the O's will be badass when Ohio State is #1 total defense and LSU is #3 and both coaches are very conservative?

Both teams have great D so it will be a very defensive game, but their offenses are really good too, so I think it'll be about 1 TD each per quarter. I mean, it's the national championship, so they're going to go balls-to-the-wall. I don't see either team cracking 40, but I also don't expect a 10-3 win or anything like that.

OSU had the best player in college football that year in Maurice Clarett. He was a key factor in that win.

OSU will win. There is no way that Tressel will allow them re-live the hangover they experienced last year. Score with two VERY good Defenses... 24-17.

I pick Ohio State to win. Last year's defeat in the BCS title game should be the biggest motivating factor the Buckeyes. Plus, I want them to win because it will end any controversy of a split national title. Goodness knows USC, Georgia, and West Virginia will be pulling for LSU.

I was totally disillusioned by this bowl season and this mythical nc that I forgot the game was today. Turned it on at halftime and watched the typical big ten beat down.

What about that random mobile bowl yesterday. I hope we get that bowl tie in down the line, but geez that game needs to be moved into December.
