Mean Green Vs. Troy (1/3/08)

This will be a very interesting game tonight. Don't let Troy's record fool you. I watched the Troy/WKU game a few nights ago... it was a real battle and could have gone either way. Troy frequently applied a full court press and took (and made) a ton of 3's. We've had mixed results handling the full court press and guarding 3's, especially on the road. I will be watching tonight to see if we have corrected, or at least improved, in these areas. If not, we are in for a long night. We really need a road win to boost confidence...... I still predict this will be our first conference win this season... probably a high scoring affair... how about UNT 90, TSU 82.

sorry for being "that guy" but we did beat nmsu on the road earlier this year. It will be huge to get our first conference victory, though.

My bad... I completely forgot about the New Mexico series.... we actually won two on the road out there... how quickly I forget.... thanks for pointing this out...edited! definitely first potential conference victory!

I just got freaked out b/c i went over to the blog and it said the game was already on. Then i found out it was on, and that we were losing. then I found out it was the womens team and i took a big sigh of relief.

Does that make me a bad person?

Usually there's about a 20 minute break between games. Men's game won't start on time.

EDIT: Well, it will as long as there aren't a million fouls at the end.
