BTW... I think there are some fine college football announcers on ABC/ESPN, but they need to be taught exactly what a reverse play is. Far too often the announcer will yell "Reverse!" when in fact the play was nothing more than a simple end-around (like Florida's last touchdown). This is not a reverse.

What makes it more annoying is when you actually throw in a reverse and the announcer yells "DOUBLE Reverse!"

A reverse is an abrupt change in the lateral direction of the play.

My New Year 08 is off to a MUCH better start than 07. I'm so happy to see Lloyd Carr go out with a win...he is an incredibly classy man who has represented the college program I grew up loving (and damn...I dred the first UM / UNT national championship game...I may have to go gay split jersey that night) with the utmost dignity.

Big-XII looking pretty good... Missouri rips Arkansas a new one and TxTech pulls a last second upset with 19 players returning next year. (few seniors) . Okie state, Texas won earlier... Aggie and Colorado lost by one TD.

Damn...been painting and working and sleeping so much, I missed most of the bowls I really wanted to see, and judging from the scores and what you guys and everybody else has been saying, I missed some awesome games!
