Quick, New Unt Fan Update

Sorry, to those with brains and good moral fiber, that I've been away. To the rest of you...bwhaaaa-haaaa-haaa-haaaa!!!

Anyway, our daughter was born December 14th - by the grace of God, a healthy, eight pound, 18 3/4 inch girl. Her presence in the world adds to the UNT fanbase...she just doesn't know it yet!

I'm greatly pleased at SMU's lack of ability to find a head football coach. Although, Baylor's hire is scary enough for us for years to come. I'm sad that we lost one of our makeshift defensive coaches. Has anyone heard whether or not we're looking into hiring a college coach to replace him, or is our braintrust out interviewing members of the Euless Trinity and Celina coaching staffs?

Or, maybe, Abilene. Seems like Abilene's defense stopped Southlake pretty good. Surely, whomever is coaching the defensive side of the ball in The Key City's first (and they believe) best high school can shut down the college passing game as well. I mean, just look at the proof we put up this season.

Congrats on the baby girl. Don't be TOO glad about SMU's struggles... they don't take that sort of thing very well over there.

I'm greatly pleased at SMU's lack of ability to find a head football coach. Although, Baylor's hire is scary enough for us for years to come. When they sign Fran or June Jones in the next two weeks we just better be happy that they are as yet not on a future schedule. $10 million gets you a lot of coach especially when you show you can raise it as quickly as SMU did.

As for your coaching question, without Tasty and his blog doing some research, we might never have known that Butch had resigned. I guess those boys will have to do some more research to find out who will replace him.

I would be more than happy about the challenge. I sincerely wish they were on our schedule NOW!
