1. speed...we've done that

2. * ratings....we've done that

3. recognition for area/state honors

The DMN/Rivals All area FB prospect ranking:

NT has SEVEN committed listed....I can't remember this many earlier

1. #22

2. # 51

3. # 53

4. # 63

5. # 66

6. #85

7. #97

In addition two others listed that are considering NT

1. # 71

2. # 87

The FW *Telegram top area 50 has 3 NT committments listed. A RB and QB already listed on the DMN listing plus a Center from SLC

The Houston Chronicle pre season had two NT Prospects listed...an ol and a wr but both chose other schools...UTEP and Tulane

The Chronicles's top 110 college prospects (after season) had one NT committment a DB

The NJCAA preseason All American team had two NT prospects

An OL from a JC in Miss 1st team and a DT from Trinity Valley as 2nd team The end of the year did not list any NT prospects

AP All State Teams:

5-A listed only 1 NT committment...QB

4-A none listed

3-A listed a DL committment and a DB Back as a committ to another school...both 1st team

2-A none listed

1-A non listed

What these listings indicate NT is going after recruits from the higher classification of football schools...in the past we recruited a lot from the smaller classification. That we are recruiting the DFW area more............but if I look at our prospect lists I see many NT prospects...many chosing other schools and some still considering NT...so I don't believe the other metroplexes are being ignored.

The San Antonio all area teams don't come out until December 30th.

AGAIN THIS IS JUST ONE OF THREE VALUATION OF RECRUITS THAT A NON PROFESSIONAL CAN USE. Another is actually going to HS FB games during the season or watching on TV the finals of state HS championships and personally seeing prospects.

What the coaches have over us nonprofessionals...is evaluations and referrals from HS coaches which Todd Dodge has a tremendous source, reviewing video tapes of the prospects, personal contact with the players and their parents and their coaches. and Although if one of us nonprofessionals subscribe to a FB web site we have this opportunity also.. for example TX FB magazine web site has over 215 such videos for subscribers viewing.

All District teams have not been determined in most cases....TX Prep will have them on its web site later this year.
