I thought this was an interesting snub of the Mountain West Conference. While watching Trinity beat Judson for the 5A Div I State Championship FSN ran a commercial for the Texas Bowl in which they show clips of Houston and Kansas State :blink:. Then the announcer say's something like Order your tickets for the 2007 Texas Bowl featuring Conference USA and the Big 12".... :huh:

They may show it again during the Katy game.

I saw it a few times. I believe TCU is replacing the Big12 rep this year.

I would like to congratluate the Trinity Trojans and Coach Steve Lineweaver for another State Championship! This is a big win for Coach LIneweaver after the lost to Southlake Carroll last year! Congrats' Euless Trinity! Way to Go!

I saw it a few times. I believe TCU is replacing the Big12 rep this year.

That's what I mean. The bowl has had three weeks(December 2nd for TCU) to prepar for the two schools that are participating in it then they do so with a new commercial and promotes the wrong school and conference.

      Absolutely agree. Morris made a terrible decision in the last hire, paying him WAY more than he deserved. Mosley should require full sign off on all candidates and he will.

      Yeah, you’re right. We should just accept and settle for mediocre teams and embarrassing coaching performances on a national stage. That shows our undying loyalty for the program and we should just shut up and stay out of it. NT being “our” team doesn’t mean we can’t voice our displeasure over the absolutely disgusting performance. UTSA does not have near the resources we have and yet they beat us because we have poor leaders who make tons of money and provide terrible results both on and off the field. And I could give two shits about getting to another crappy bowl game against a crappy opponent. That’s what they hope this Caponi firing will do, take our eyes off the embarrassment in San Antonio and 5 straight game losing streak. Get ready for it. The well staffed propaganda machine will be demanding we recognize and appreciate what an amazing accomplishment another six win bowl team is.

      Morris should not be allowed to interview for the DC position. We need to have someone who understands the defense to ask the right question. Could we ask Orr to do the interviews for us?
