This is old news that I have complained about before.

If you are the worst team in a BCS conference you make more money then the best team in a non-BCS conference.

It's good to be the king. BCS conferences get the BCS games, but also get invited to more bowl games then anyone else. Win or lose, that school gets money to split with the rest of the conference.

That's 100% true unless you are the Utah, Boise State or Hawaii it's better to be Baylor. For non-BCS schools it's undefeated or bust but for a low level BCS school they know their check is in the mail before the season even starts.

Check the numbers...and I mean MONEY, not record. How many bowl games did the Big12 go to when Boise State won the game against zero-U? That was a big payday for the WAC. Same for the WAC with Hawaii. But how many other WAC teams went to a bowl game? What is their winnings? I bet over twice as many B12 teams went to bowls as WAC teams. While I don't have the numbers in front of me, I would expect - at worst - Baylor and Hawaii will be even in bowl payouts.
