Just wanted to get yalls thoughts on the difference is recruiting methods between TD and Dickey. Todge now has 17 commits as of Dec. 16, and goes with the get them when ever possible method. While under Dickey we would be lucky to have one verbal at this point and he would get the bulk of his classes in the last few weeks. This is a drastic difference in styles.

For me I prefer the Todd Dodge method. Whether you like it or not, early pledges/verbals are common in this day and age. In the past the big boys such as UT would have their class pretty much done by this point. But thats not the case now, as most schools are trying to get early commits. I feel as though you can no longer wait till the last few weeks otherwise you will be pick up the leftovers of everyone else. I'm very impressed with what Dodge has done thus far in his recruiting efforts. Hell before we know it Dodge will be receiving verbals for the class of 09.

Verbals, pledges, commitments for 2009?

Heck yes, go for it! Take a look at DCTF commitments.

Many Big 12 schools have commitments listed for the 2009 class.
