OK, what's the significance of the green dot on the back of all the NFL QB's helments?? Anybody know??

I wonder if that was a result of spygate? Did that start at the beginning of the year, that would rule out my guess.

It's been a rule since the beginning of the season.

IIRC, last season the Falcons would run plays with 2 QBs on the field, and both of their helmets would, since they're QBs, have radios in them. Since only one radioed helmet is allowed, it's an easy way for the officials to notice.

they were discussing this on the ticket several months back and had a p1 email a great story. he had his wife conviced that the green dot meant they were diabetic. I thought this was pure greatness. I would've tried the same thing on my wife had I not already explained to her 5 times what the green dot was.
